Also, I’ve been invited to record a song for a new Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young tribute album. We’ll be recording “Just A Song Before I Go”. Graham Nash is very happy about this, which is very cool. I’m not sure of the whole track listing and line-up. I know Judy Collins is doing “Helplessly Hoping”. I know Steve Wynn is on it, too, but I’m not sure which song. I’ll post the info as I get it, though. We’ll have copies available for sale through the new web page.

I’ve been asked to re-post the info about buying Eileen Rose CDS and/or Silver Threads CDs.  Must be folks thinking of giving the gift of Rose for the holiday season which sounds like a GREAT idea to me.

Yesterday, I recorded a live album with my Nashville honky tonk band, THE SILVER THREADS, comprised of  The Legendary Rich Gilbert, Slick Joe Fick and the great Johnnie Barber. That won’t be available for a while yet – we still need to fuss over it, figure out what to include and finish up the artwork. But we hope to have that ready by Christmas.

I’m also working on a new Eileen Rose & The Holy Wreck album, which I’m excited about.  That will NOT be ready by Christmas.  However, the brand new Eileen Rose web page is nearly finished!  I’ll be blabbing about it’s unveiling very soon. My honky tonk shows and CD sales with the good ole Silver Threads are funding this album and web page. AND I have a great time doing it. Lucky me!

Thanks very much for the interest, comments, support and hard earned cash you’ve all given to my musical enterprises.  It’s a strange and confusing world these days in the music “industry” and, more than ever, it’s the music fans keeping artists like myself afloat. Never fails to amaze and humble me.

Hi folks,

I’m excited and proud to have been chosen as the subject of the next Rockabilly Highway Mural in Nashville! The Legendary Rich Gilbert and me are going to be painted 20ft high by our friend and very talented artist, Brian Tull. He’s taking a photo then painting it on to a huge mural, like the one above.  Check out his work and you’ll see why we’re excited and honored to be chosen as his latest subjects.

Here are a couple of images Brian shot. He’s got over 150 of them so not sure which he’ll choose yet, but can’t wait to see the finished result.
