Quick update folks: Recording is going well for the new Eileen Rose & The Holy Wreck record. Did I
mention that I’m producing it myself with The Legendary Rich Gilbert, at home, in Nashville? We made the big jump to a fancy pants version of Pro-Tools, which cost us a whole lot of time, brain cells and tears, but it’s working! No more studio clock ticking away the dollars…so we can make the record JUST as we like and it’s done when we’re happy. Not when the budget runs out. I’ve discovered that I sing better in my pajamas.
Also, I’ve been invited to record a song for a new Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young tribute album. We’ll be recording “Just A Song Before I Go”. Graham Nash is very happy about this, which is very cool. I’m not sure of the whole track listing and line-up. I know Judy Collins is doing “Helplessly Hoping”. I know Steve Wynn is on it, too, but I’m not sure which song. I’ll post the info as I get it, though. We’ll have copies available for sale through the new web page.
Thanks for checking in!
Eileen xo
